A Day In The Life

We support individuals to live inclusive and active lives directed by their self-identified interests and goals. Along with the day-to-day activities of running a household, we support individuals to participate in their communities and develop and maintain relationships while committing to their individual rights, freedom of choice, and health and well-being.

Each individual living at RRSS has their own schedule, commitments, and routine. In a given day, we assist them with a variety of activities. Wondering about a day in the life? Just think about what you do in the run of a day - it might be something like:

  • Get up, get ready for the day (shower and dressed), eat breakfast

  • Go to work, go to school, volunteer

  • Go to a yoga class, the gym, a ball hockey practice, or for a walk to the park

  • Go to an appointment, have a meeting, see the doctor

  • Meet with friends or family, attend music class, go to a movie or to church

  • Go to a restaurant, make dinner, host a dinner party

  • Organize future plans or a trip, set goals, dream of dreams

  • Grocery shop, run errands, relax on the sofa after a hard day at work

The individuals we support are no different –  what you do is what we do!
